NSS WING OF SCSVMV CONDUCTED A RALLY ON ROAD SAFETY IN KANCHIPURAM ON 05.08.2015

The NSS wing of SCSVMV organized a RALLY ON ROAD SAFETY on 05.08.2015in Kanchipuram. Prof. Dr. V.S.VishnuPothy, Vice Chancellor and Prof.Dr. G. Srinivasu, the Registrar of the Universitywere the chief guests of the inaugural function. The Deputy Superintendent of Police, Kanchipuram started the rally by flag shaking. The rally was jointly organized with Indian Medical Association, Kancheepuram wing. The rally was started from Anna Arangam and proceeded through Four Raja Veedhis of Kanchipuram. Nearly 200 NSS volunteers were participated in the rally. Road safety plug cards were lifted and shown to public and bit notices were issued to them. The road safety disciplines to be followed were also told to public  through audio systems. The NSS Programme Coordinator Dr. M. Sundarrajan, Programme OfficersMr. B. Muthukumaran, Mr. J.S. Shyam Mohan and Dr. K. Rajalakshmi carried out all the necessary arrangements.  Refreshments were given to all volunteers.
